Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
  • “Combining very sensual and explicit love scenes with equally tender and emotional storytelling isn't easy, but Ms. Erickson pulls it off in FORBIDDEN flawlessly. Austin and Michaela are characters that I began to care about, and I was pulled into their story from the start.” – Cheryl Romance Junkies (4 Blue Ribbons)
  •  “Karen Erickson has captured me with this immensely intriguing story of lovers, misunderstanding, sexual fear and desire, in such a satisfying exploration of the complexities of trust, love, and amorousness passion creating a fan for life!” – Brande, Book Junkies (5 stars)

Three's Not A Crowd, Here 3.5 stars Two novellas, loosely connected, which include m/m and m/f/m sex scenes. Forbidden I found it a little hard to believe that healthy young people who live together can hide or mistake a sexual attraction to one another. So the mostly gay but bisexual roommate who has a "thing" for his straight roomie who has a crush on him, and neither of them figure it out for months? N'uh uh. The sex scenes themselves are hot, but my thinking both parties in these attractions were idiots detracted a bit from their eventual consummation. Once Michaela and Austin did get going, however, it was fabulously hot, all the way. Tangled Scarlett, a minor character in Forbidden, is the protagonist in Tangled. With Scarlett, who's got a "thing" for Drake, we explore a sex club with her and Trevor - who Drake is interested in. There's phone sex and eventually, all three play together, in hot explicit deliciousness, but Scarlett and Trevor are meant to be together.
