The 2013 budget-line compilation is released via Legacy, who has rights to both Perkins' seminal Sun sides, and these 14 songs have a couple of surprises among the expected: "Honey Don't," "Matchbox," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby," and "Dixie Fried" are here, but so are "Movie Magg," "Put Your Cat Clothes On," "All Mama's Children," and "Gone, Gone, Gone." These lesser-known songs are welcome and makes this Playlist something close to a recommended entry point for Perkins.
