I was first introduced to this book as a teen ( my mom read everything, and often read aloud to us), and somewhere along the like, my copy disappeared. I was hoping for a pleasant re-read of an old favoite, but, alas, it was not to be. The formatting is ludicrios, and the scanning typos too numerous to count. I give it three stars. Presentation, zero, Kerr's writing, five.

I know the book, its not the authors fault. However, when you OCR PROOF READ IT. This has not even had a check for nonsensical words. It includes page numbers (foot of page) and top of page chapter titles. Even free its too expensive.

Jean Kerr must have been drunk while writing this. It makes no sense what so ever. Too many typos and misused quotes to even begin to understand the contents of this "book" At 73 pages long I only made it to page 10 before I started becoming stupid for reading this. HORRIBLE!

Note to Google: if you scan a book using OCR, then go back and fix the errors OCR causes PLEASE. I'm old enough to remeber the sitcom based on the stories in this book. Jean Kerr is a great writer, and the stories of being a working mother writing plays and other tales is fun without being obnoxious, or foul, or nasty. The reason this short book didn't rate a 5 was it's poor presentation

I hoped it would be the book form of the movie of the same title. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is Mrs. Kerr's personal experiences.
