    A useful tool for dealing with childhood sexual abuse

    This story is an excellent tool for both profesionals and non-professionals. For non-professionals, it is an endearing and personal story that tells children who have been abused that they are not alone. Sharing this story with other children reminds them that they can tell about sexual abuse and that their courage can lead them to an adult who will help. For professionals (counselor, psychotherapist, psychologist, etc.), this book is a tool to help both young children and even teens begin to develop their own trauma narratives. I would recommend this story for children ages 5 to 18.
