EXCERPT:

"Begin," Michelle, said with a wave of her riding crop.
Reshonda responded with hesitation, closing her eyes, taking in the slow rhythm of the music. She recognized the song as Slow like Honey by Fiona Apple. Her eyes closed, she let the music invade her and take control of her movements. As her body began to find its own rhythm, she open her eyes and looked over to David, sitting in front of her. Michelle was behind her and, as she swayed left and right and pulled at the zipper of her dress, she turned to face her.
"Turn around. Dance in front of David.” Michelle snapped, in a low, quick tone.
A flush came to Reshonda's cheeks as she felt the sting of Michelle's harsh words sink in. Chastised and spurned, she turned to face David, slipping her dress from one shoulder, then the other, letting it fall to the floor around her feet. She stood for a moment, feeling exposed and vulnerable in her lacey red bra and panties, finding it difficult to get into her role with David sitting in front of her with that expectant look on his face. It was even harder knowing that Michelle watched her from behind, acting forceful in her unexpected role of dominatrix. A strange wash of emotion surfaced in Reshonda, a kind of embarrassment and humiliation coupled with a strange arousal at being made to submit to the will of another. She let the sultry song seep into her soul, her eyes closed again, swaying slowly as Fiona sang, "You came near to me, and you endeared to me, but you couldn't quite disarm me."
Reshonda felt the slow rhythm of the music overtake her and she opened her eyes to see David, lounging back in his chair but looking like a puppy waiting for a treat. His expectant look made her feel just a little naughty, and she started to exaggerate the movement of her hips a little more, while reaching to her back and unclasping her bra. She rolled her left shoulder toward David and blew him a little kiss while slipping the strap of the bra over her shoulder. Turning, she did the same with the other side, holding the bra to her chest while giving David her most coy, seductive look. Knowing Michelle was watching as she stripped for David was erotic in a way she could never have imagined. She was really dancing as much for Michelle as David. With a knowing smile, she tossed her bra, sending it flying onto David’s shoulder. David licked his lips as he stared at her small breasts and dark n*ppl*s, tightening even more from exposure to cool air. The way he stared at her sent a shiver down her spine, an even greater stiffness to her n*ppl*s, and a flutter to her nether region.

    Outstanding - Highly Recommend!

I don't know how Ellison packed so much into a short story, but it worked - and it even has a plot! All the different subjects are fit into the story seamlessly, although there are so many covered.

Let me see. The story is told through the point of view of Reshonda, a young professional black woman. She is asked to help a friend in growing her business. This is her best friend from high school, a slighly overweight hispanic woman. The two got together after graduation for some experimentation. The second person called in to help is David, a gangly geeky kid from high school who has grown into a hunky beefcake of a man. Well, I can't say much more without giving the whole story away. Let's just say that all the bets are off and skeletons come out of the closet in an undeniably arousing way.

    Friends Reunite

This was an OK story about three HS friends reuniting for the sake oh helping one grow her business.... or so it seems. It took me a while to finish and at the end I wasn't disappointed nor was I highly satisfied. If you're in the mood for a fun, sexy read then this is your book.
