Overview

Michael Hawkins is mature, rich, and drop-dead sexy. He is also gay. And, for some strange reason, he wants me to be his pretend girlfriend in exchange for a big sum of money.

He has one condition, though: I cannot get close to a man, or be seen with one during the one year I'm contracted with him. I thought it'd be a piece of cake, until I meet his two grown-up, gloriously handsome sons, who won't take no for an answer, including from me.

I'll not fall for their cheap tricks even if it means I have to close my eyes each time I see them. And each time I close my eyes, I imagine their naked bodies doing sinful acts on mine. God help me before my physical urges get the best of me, and the contract blows up in my face.

Book one of a four-part erotic romance series.
Mature audiences only!

Liv Bennett lives in California with her scientist husband, toddler daughter, and two loud budgies. Reading and writing erotic romance are her favorite forms of relaxation, in addition to long walks and yoga. She's a social drinker of coffee but a serious tea addict. Adam Garnett, the hero of the Pursuit of Passion, came to her in a dream during a romantic getaway in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day, and since then hasn't left Liv's mind for longer than a day, much to her husband's dismay.

The Everlasting Pursuit, the third book in the Pursuit series, will hit the digital bookshelves before Christmas.

The story was good however, I find that when I have to pay for 3 more books to get a conclusion, it really makes me mad! Though this was free and I enjoyed it, it left off before any conclusion so you HAVE to buy the books (or the set of 4) and that did not sit well with me. Though I enjoyed it, I'd have preferred if things would wrap up in the FIRST book...then possibly continue if there was more to tell after.

Smart woman takes a job as gf to a rich gay ceo, he tells her she can't have a relationship with anyone else for a year, while she is with him. Only thing is, she is allowed, by their arrangement, to go to a male bordello (which services female clientele). Not worth the time to read this "story", it is vapid, empty of feeling, characters are silly, I am glad it was free because if I'd paid for it, I would want a refund.

Decadent, Debasing, Despicable characters and story line this series depicts everything bad about humanity. It is worth reading if you can tolerate reading it in black and white. It throw the worse of us in our faces. We all know life exists on this plane of depravity but it's shocking to have it in our hands and reading it word-for-word forcing us to face what we don't know to know about our fellow man. The author has got to be the bravest I've ever read. Writing style perfect for the story. Despite a need for better editing and a few error that the reader will overlook. I read it all -- every book while knowing I didn't want this in my head. If you are brave and tolerant you should read Ms. Bennett's work.

I really did not like fact that the author portrayed the women in the book as a piece of meat and glad she finally left her husband..No women should have to go through that

This is the first review for me. I believe this author has potential, but I feek like I missed huge chunks of this story. I dont believe this was more than a rough draft. This author should stick to topics within her own age group as I believe her to be a bit young, making her story almost childish.

Interesting yet good book. I'm sure I haven't read one anywhere close to like Pleasure Extraordinaire before, which made it more interesting to read.

Pleasure Extraordinaire Book One by Liv Bennett is not your typical billionaire romance novel. First you have young girl who is in desperate need of a job, after a terrible situation that involved sexual harassment, a kidnapping and a murder, she just wants to find a job that will hire her and pay her bills. The story, did feel as though we were coming into it late. For instance, all the information about what happened prior to this story is not filled in in such a way that this feels like a stand alone story. Instead it feels like we missed book one of this story. However this short story is different then anything I've read lately about a billionaire and a young girl. This story we have a billionaire Michael who is old enough to be Lindsey's father, but doesn't look his age. Lindsey is about a year or two out of college and working to pay her bills, but due to past problems in back in California attempting to make it. Michael and Lindsey had meet a year ago, and he calls her in for a job interview. Lindsey is ecstatic but tries to not get her hopes up ate 20 some job interviews. While in the interview she realizes that the job he things she's applying for is not in fact the job Michael wants to hire her for. Michael is in fact guy but is in the closet, so hires beautiful women to be his arm candy to essentially be his beard in order to save his company. Michael has been married, and lost his wife to cancer, he has three grown children Lindsey's age. She agrees to take on the job, because the pay is amazing as well as the opportunity, but there is one stipulation. She can't be seen with any other man for at least one year. This is a problem because Lindsey needs physical touch, she was deprived it and now she doesn't think she can go a whole year without it. Michael agrees and suggests she visits Pleasure Extraordinaire. Its a club Michael owns and feels comfortable with her going to get her needs fulfilled. She tries the club out, and is kind of surprised by the whole thing. It is a sex club where women come to get their needs fulfilled for a price. The men here are usually very wealthy men who also have needs. Michael agrees to pay her membership so Lindsey attempts to see if the club will fulfill her needs. While trying the club and dealing with Michael she is introduced to Michael's son, who knows of his fathers contracts with women, and wants Lindsey. This is definitely for mature audiences only! This is a fast paced story with great character development and so much going on you have a hard time following. It is a steamy hot sexy story that is sure to please.

This book was an ok read. The plot is interesting, it sets up a great story line but the length of the first book is so short. The author gives barely anything away in the first book. All you get is an introduction of the plot, a glimpse of the characters, and a preview of the characters sexual interactions. I wish there was more in this first book. The story line built up to a climax but it wasn't really a resolve at the end. I felt as if it ended rather abruptly. I do plan on buying the other books though. I would recommend this series! If you're not willing to purchase books, and you're not ok with being left with pretty the whole story to unfold, I wouldn't recommend reading this book or you'll be disappointed.

Michael Hawkins wants Miss Doheny to fulfill a very specific job position for him. Her resume can get her any job she wants, so she's not obligated to take the job if she truly doesn't want it. Something tells her, this is the job for her, and she gladly obliges.  Just wait and see what she is required to do in order to execute the contract she signed. It will please more than just Mr. Hawkins.  This is a quick read at almost two hundred pages. It is intriguing and complex enough to keep you reading. The situations Lindsay Doheny finds herself in are purely fictional, but they make for a great book. 5/5.
