Overview

In the second book of the Pleasure Games series, Erin Shay returns—and her latest research is sure to send sparks flying

Once a mere lab assistant, Erin Shay is thrilled over her new promotion. The curvaceous, brainy, straitlaced beauty has been placed in charge of an important new research project: testing a serum specially designed to substantially prolong a couple's lovemaking. With her research partners, Jay and Laura, off on their honeymoon, Erin's been left alone in the lab . . . with her hard-bodied new assistant, Kale Alexander, a sexy stud who has "playboy" written all over him.

Erin's never even had a one-night stand—but the project's success depends upon her playing the wild, wanton bad girl with Kale. Since she's already learned the perils of leaving herself open to heartbreak, this time she'll be the one calling the shots. Her bad-boy partner is going to know from the get-go that this will be a brief sex-only affair—torrid, steamy love in the interests of science . . . with absolutely no strings attached. But when the loving is this deliciously hot, who in her right mind wouldn't want to prolong it?

modern day hotter version of the Grant-Rogers film Monkey Business

Erin Shay was the lab assistant to Laura Manning and Jay Cutler, but they are currently on their honeymoon (see PLEASURE CONTROL). Thus she is assigned the project of testing whether the PLEASURE PROLONGED serum developed in their lab can safely extend lovemaking. Erin is euphoric over the opportunity though she admits that being a prim and proper virgin makes her an unlikely candidate for the elixir experiment because she must act the part of a wild woman. Assigned to help Erin is lab assistant, Kale Alexander, a hunk that has the research scientist fantasizing what they could do together with and without the serum though she assumes she is out of his league as centerfolds do not look one at female geeks. As they work together on the experiment, the sex is incredible, but that only enhances the love that blossoms between them. --- As with the prequel, PLEASURE PROLONGED feels like a modern day hotter version of the Grant-Rogers film Monkey Business. This time the pairing of two scientists is different because Kale has no doubts what he wants while Erin lacks confidence outside the Bunsen burner world. Combining humor, sex, science, sex, relationships, and sex, Cathryn Fox provides her audience with a pleasing prolonged pleasure read. --- Harriet Klausner

    A Terrific series!

Cathryn Fox will take you on a great adventure! This is the second of three, each story gets you more invested and you find yourself rooting for them to find happiness and love! I loved it and so will you.

This book is only 136 pages long!

It's a pretty good story for this type of book but if I had known that I was paying $9.99 for a 136 paged book I would have never wasted my money. $2.99 maybe but $9.99? Hell no. The one thing I didn't like about the story is that because they had so many sexual encounters at their place of work you can't fully get into it because you're just waiting for someone to walk in and them get fired.

    Repetative

I read the 1st book of this series which was good. But when you get into this one the author actually uses the same exact expressions in the second. Like brushing her hair over her ear, and how the girl can't possibly open herself up.....blah, blah, blah....It gets so repetative it's almost boring. The sex was hot and the passion was there, but the writing lacked believability. The third book is the same.... same lines, same problems with trying not to love each other.

    Really great book

I could not put it down. It got to the point where my eyes didn't want to stay open because it was getting so late, but I kept reading because I didn't want to put it down until I finished it.

    I Also Recommend:

A really good, fun, erotic read.

Pleasure Prolonged was, for me, a really fun read. A little bit of a science experimenet gone awry and a little bit erotica. So glad I came across it.
