Overview

Mollie stared out the window at the streets far below, the cold, snowy streets she had so recently come from. Was it only the previous week she had shivered in the cold and wondered where she could possibly find to rest her head and get warm? Was it only the previous week she had met him, had desperately begged for a job, anything to get her in out of the cold? She turned, smiling at the warm glow of light in the penthouse behind her, then began to crawl across the floor. The little bells dangling from her rings tinkled as she moved, and the tail attached to the ball within her swung softly against her bare thighs. Master would be home soon, and she must prepare herself.

I have just discovered Argus stories, this one was not impressed at all. What could have been a truly good story turned stupid, It seems every time the author uses a Mistress in the story is when the story falls apart and what was intriguing turns plain awful. I now find myself reading more of the reviews before I'll purchase any books of this nature. One thing I have found another person mentioned and it seems to be a major problem across the board. Spell/Check and errors, I found this author is I assume trying to hard to push out stories that they are forgetting the characters names in one book they misused the lead male's character twice and in another they used the wrong girl's name from another story. In some ways not a big deal but in others it throws off the reader thinking they missed something.

I'm into bdsm and really like books by Argus. In this book, takes a cute and petite runaway and have her snatched way and into the life of sex slave. Her captors abuses and uses her body for their own pleasure. Molly who never appreciated the life she had soon finds herself becoming attached to her captors. This book teaches a harsh lesson about appreciating life no matter if it is good or bad. Molly who never honed any skills in life was unprepared for the world. She is then taken advantaged of by her childish niavetivity and eventually accepts her fate as a sex slave.

I tried to write a longer review but BN's obscenity filter wouldn't let me discuss the subject frankly. Suffice to say that this book is so bad the author is unable to spell the protagonist's name consistently, jumping from "Molly" to "Mollie" often within the same scene and sometimes the same sentence. That this is being sold on a legitimate book site is shocking given the clear lack of editing. At 324KB the story comes in at half the length of the average mainstream genre novel despite the relatively high price. If it were a quality novel (or, more accurately, novella) that wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, it's far from quality. Less than one-dimensional characters, bad writing, and a complete lack of quality control make this book a waste of money for all but those looking for flat descriptions of torture.
