Too bad B&N doesn't have zero stars because that what I would give this book. Typically I don't take the time to write a review but this book was so awful I had to warn others before they hit the purchase button. Normally read the reviews before I purchase a book and I did with this, to say the reviews for this book were misleading are an understatement. It was one of the WORST books I've read and it was extremely overpriced!! It should have been 99 cents.
The book lacked any type of romance and the sex screens were absolutely horribly written. This was so unbelievable. I'm all for a strong main woman character going for what she wants, but it was beyond fantasize reading that she agreed to marriage a stranger to reach her goal. The dialogs between the characters lack any type of substance, especially after she agreed to marriage one of the bothers who was distanced and aloof. The overview states "Diandra soon finds her new role deliciously appealing, as the passionate attentions of three enthusiastic lovers carry her to new pinnacles of erotic satisfaction" This statement couldn't be more untrue!! When did passion and satisfaction become when a man takes a woman without any type of foreplay and only his sexual needs are met? Thought we have moved out the caveman type of sexual relationship and yet this author seems to think this is the norm. In one part of the book it read as if the main character was being raped, which I found extremely offensive being a woman. And shame on you the author if the author is a woman for thinking any woman would find it to be a turn on.
No wonder the author has only written two books, they should find another career because writing romance novels is not it. Buyer beware.don't waste your money or your time on this worthless so called romance book. Instead if you want a steamy well written romance novel, I suggest "Hot in Here", by Sophie Renwick. It will leave you wanting for more!

From remote village to even more isolated villages she asks the locals, but no one offers her the slightest clue. About to give up on her obsession for now, Diandra is euphoric when she meets Hama, who claims he comes from the fabled forbidden Lost Valley. He is heading home and has agreed to guide her there.<BR/><BR/>However, he had a stipulation that she readily accepted. He will take her there only as his wife. Coveting the valley, she acquiesces to his terms. However, Diandra did not fully understand what she agreed to when she married Hama; she learns she is also the wife of his three brothers. She falls in love with one of the siblings Yeshi as she wonders how the PLEASURES OF THE LOST VALLEY could prove so ironically cruel.<BR/><BR/>This is an intriguing contemporary romance with a bit of whimsy. The key is the Lost Valley, which Diana Mercury vividly portrays through the eyes of the brothers whose differing personalities add depth to the view and the fresh naive perspective of the outsider. Although Diandra goes from intrepid explorer to suddenly frightened maiden (except in heat) disrupting the story line, readers will enjoy Ms. Mercury¿s spin on Shangri-la.<BR/><BR/>Harriet Klausner
