Andy Crowe has written an excellent book! I used a couple of books for self study, but found Andy's book absolutely useful. It is filled with expert subject matter advice and helped me focus on my study for the PMP. I passed the PMP exams on my first attempt! I highly recommend this book to everyone who wishes to attain the PMP certification!

This is a wonderful supplemental text to use in preparing for the PMP exam. It focuses on the Inputs, Tools and Outputs making it easy to understand these crucial points. It needs to be used in conjunction with the PMBOK and the fabled 'Rita's book', however. I would not recommend using this book alone.

Excellent resource, but it should not be your only one. Very easy explication of concepts and breakdown of how important and how difficult each topic is. Main drawback is the tests are too easy. Still, highly recommended.

I found Crowe's book to be a fully comprehensive study guide in my preparation for the PMP Exam. Crowe does a nice job laying out the main concepts and key facts useful for exam preparation. I am taking the exam in a few days so I don't know if it is 100% effective yet but I feel very well prepared after reading this book.

I bought this book 4/16, received it 4/19 and read though it cover-to-cover one time. During my first time through, I took all the chapter practice tests. I then went through the book 2 more times, each tie only reviewing the critcal areas that I highlighted. I took the 200 questing practice exam 2 times, passing both times. The book proved to be very helpful on the exam. The exam was a bit more broad than this book was written, however, there is no way I would have passed without it. Suggestion: in addition to this book, use a second source for studying - reason being is the exam does not use the exact terms as this book, and the questions on the exam are very broad and hypothetical. I passed on my first try and was very pleased with the material in this book. Highly recommend.

Once I got this book, the whole science was easy to understand and absorb. Not only did I pass the CAPM test, but it helped me answer questions at interviews. Within a month, I had a job as a project manager.

Andy Crowe's book is an excellent resource to learn the key PMI principles and definitely facilitates the study process for the PMP exam. I read this book, completed all of the chapter review and final exam questions and then used the sample questions from the one week trial to insite...in two weeks, I passed the PMP exam, along with learning alot about the PMI best practices. I highly recommend this book!
