    Good supplement to PMBOK

I read the PMBOK first and then took a practice test. I found there was a lot of information on the test that was not clearly stated in the PMBOK. That's where Heldman's book came in. She has really done her research and covers the information that is consistently on the test. It helped me a lot. The only thing I found lacking was the dvd. I would have preferred a couple of full 200-quesion practice tests vs. the 75-question tests(2) that were included. The flashcards didn't help me, but that's going to vary from person to person.

    A reviewer

This book effectively prepared me to take and pass the PMP exam. The authors provide sufficient detail and repetition to help the reader understand and retain the required facts and figures. My Study Method (FYI... I have 15 years of PM Experience): Over a two week period: - Read each chapter and conducted end-of-chapter exam. - Took all of the practice exams at least one time. - Listened to audio summaries in car throughout the two week period. - READ the PMBOK guide cover to cover. Well done Ms. Heldman. Thank you.

    A reviewer

The flow of this book is not like most PMP study guides I've seen. The norm seems to be each Knowledge Area as its own Chapter. This book goes through the flow of an actual project. This was a bit difficult for me since I had been studying 1 way until I read this book. That not withstanding, the questions on the accompanying CD are what I believe helped me pass. They really seemed to grasp the way the test makers ask the questions and help you disect the logic behind the question.

    False advertising

I bought this book for the 6 practice exams. Since the real test has 200 questions, I expected the practice tests to have 200 questions each. Instead, they range from 50-74 questions each. I have plenty of other PM books covering the content, so this was a waste of my money.

Best Book in the Market for PMP certification

I have read this book thrice ( as recomended by the author) before taking the exam and passed the exam. I did reference other books in the market, but I still attribute my passing to Kim Heldman and they way she explained the topics.

Very good set for PMP exam.

I used the study guide which was very useful & designed as per exam need also it clears some of the fundamentals. There are few things which are not in book also asked in exam. But 2-3 in 200 questions. Final exam review is an eye opener, I felt it's pretty tough to pass the 4 tests given in it. I never opened & used work book. But overall other two books were very very useful in passing the exams.
