Excellent resource for teaching patients about their diagnosis!

As a military healthcare provider in the war zone I have found this pocket sized booklet very beneficial. The diagrams are plentiful and in most cases of adequate size.

I also appreciate Barnes and Nobles shipping to our APO address! I received my purchase within 2 weeks.

    Mistakes

This would be perfect to for an A&P class if there were no mistakes in it. It is important to have the correct information when studying anatomy & physiology; however, it seems not as important to the publisher. There are mistakes on pages 42 & 43. Once I found those I couldn't continue with the pocket A&P because of the mistakes it cause me in class. I contacted the editor about the problems, and it didn't seem to matter too much. I was unhappy about that.

An excellent pocket book for anyone who needs to review anatomy

I LOVE this book so much! I carry it in my backpack at all times. I'm a nursing student and this has helped clarify answers for me many times in skills related studying. The pictures are beyond wonderful! It's very detailed and even 3-d i'd say! I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a good anatomy review book.

Very helpful for students: both HS & college

I bought this for my student's HS phys & anat class and the student said it matched the textbooks almost exactly. Handy for carrying in a bookbag or backpack. Easy study guide for exams. My college student said it was also very helpful but not quite detailed enough for college study.

Wow, an outstanding A & P pocket book

Pocket Anatomy & Physiology just glows in its presentation of the body systems. The medical illustrator makes the body come to life and the book meets the needs for any medical and allied healthcare professional. I think it will also make a great gift for my friends and family in helping them identify body structures in the event of an injury or disease. Some unique features of the book include its ¿pocket size¿ '3.5 x 5.5 inches' on waterproof paper, its crystal clear presentation that make the illustrations pop from the pages, unique anatomical views - like the cross section of the hand - highlight every detail in full-color, precise labels accurately identify every structure, truly a pocket sized handbook that you can take anywhere, each tab tells you the orientation of every figure - no more guessing at what you¿re viewing, a spiral binding makes it a snap to locate essential information quickly, easy-to-reference tables summarize all of the relevant physiology.
