ock jams the Spin Doctors specialize in. It may be unfair to compare them to the Grateful Dead, but the Doctors often suggest a lighter, more pop-oriented version of that band. The first of these is the Can't Say No demo from 1989 and its 1990 successor, Piece of Glass, the two demo tapes accounting for 14 of the album's 16 cuts, with live versions of "Turn It Upside Down" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" rounding out the disc, the latter taken from a N.Y.C. performance in the fall of 1990.]
