Insights into Loving Who You Are

A portable treasure full of gentle reminders to live the moment that is yours, to live it as yourself, and to cherish yourself in living this moment this way. Compiled of crisp snapshots from Ani Pema's many books, these short vignettes and lessons delve the most serious issues of being fully human with humor, kindness, and a simple, direct incisiveness that gives the lie to all that booming pedantry lining the "Spiritual" shelf of our national bookcase. Pull it from the backpack or briefcase as the train gets underway, and be amazed how often the randomly opened page speaks straight through all the daily chatter to open the heart and mind.

    A daily dose of wisdom

3/22/11- I purchased this book as a follow up to reading Heart Advice... by Chodron. She is a delight to read bc of her authenticity. It feels like you have an empathetic friend pointing out some valuable ideas. Worth every anecdotal penny.
