Foxstar |Ashclan|

He nodded to Poppystar before jumping onto the high-log. He mewed, "Ashclan will be moving back to our territory tonight." He paused as the news rippled through the crowd of cats. He continued, "It is true, Northclan's territory can not support both clans. But i fear for the safety of not only Ashclan, but of all clans." He looked towards Lilywolf, Thistlestar, and Poppystar grimly as he mewed, "9 sunrises ago i returned to Ashclan's camp. The Twolegs have completely destroyed our camp. Bright shiny monsters are all aroind the territory, along with twolegs. And there are sharp, shiny, little twoleg traps that can rip open anycat's throat if they get caught in it." He paused, "i fear that all cats will be in danger soon... Ashclan can survive for now on the borders and what little of our territory that hasnt been taken over, but we have many kits and i will not let them die of starvation." He looked directly sat Thistlestar and Lilywolf, "Ashclan will survive, no matte what it takes." He jumped off of the high-log at that

    Velvetstar ~ Horseclan

Velvetstar took her place on the Great Oak as the other clans arrived and decided to start. "I'll start by saying Horseclan is doing well; going through hard times time, but doing well. We've dealt with flesh-eating flies, an earthquake, and now a snow storm. The storm hasn't done too much damage to us, but I'm sure it will affect our supply of prey. But on the good side, two warriors have had kits, and two warriors have joined, Mouse and Gorsetail. We've had two tresspassers recently. Mistypaw, a Rainclan apprintice who attacked three(?) members of Horseclan," Velvetstar meowed, eyeing Rainstar, "and a rouge tom whom I'm told escaped our camp. So I advise you all to keep a careful watch." Velvetstar hesitated before she continued, what she was about to say she hadn't announced to her own clan yet, but she figures now is as good a time as any. "Lastly, I've lost my eigth life yesterday. I'm afraid I may not be here too much longer and my deputy, Goldenstripe, will be taking my place. I am confidant though, that he will do well and take good care of Horseclan. He has always taken excellent care of his family and I know taking responsibility for his clan will be no different." Finished, Velvetstar dipped her head and stepped aside for the next leader to speak. -Velvetstar-

    Sparklestar // Ashclan

She leaps up. "Ashclan is doing well. We have a litter of kits born to fawnstep, and a new apprentice; Heartpaw. We also have two new warriors: Sedgewhisker and Gopherpelt." She steps back and leaps down.

    Thistlestar ♦SandClan♦

He dipped his head to Lilywolf. "A long time ago, Ivyheart, SandClan's only elder, was murdered. Now we figure it was either Mistypaw, or somehow Sky being able to visit opc territory in spirit form. Either way, we are sending out small patrols to scavenge or any traces of or hopefully the killer. We are not sending out the every cat; the camp will be safely guarded with some of us gone." He gave a stern look at the cats of Horseclan, Rainclan, Northclan and Ashclan, warning them of unspoken consequences if any one of them even thinks about stepping over the border. "On the brighter side," he spoke as if nothing just happened, "we have newly joined warrior. Mintfur has so far proved herself as a strong, capable warrior. SandClan is delghted to have her." Thistlestar paused, running through what else needed to be said in his mind. "I guess that wraps it up. May StarClan light your path. If Rainstar isn't going to post, then Gathering dismissed. If he does a last-minute post, forget I said this last bit."

    Rainstar ~ RainClan

The tabby took her place on the Great Oak, nodding respectfully to Thistlestar,"RainClan has had a season of many lossess," she mewed,"Emberstar dissapeared, so DawnFlight took over his leadership as DawnStar. After a while, she developed a sickness, that killed her. Myself, being the deputy, took over leadership. I recieved my nine lives just last night," she mewed,"On the good side, we have had a season of plentiful prey, along with the blessing of three new apprentices, Hawkpaw, Lionpaw, and Poppypaw!" She waited for the clans to call the apprentice's names,"We have also been blessed with a litter of kits, born to Willowpool. Thank you," she concluded, stepping aside. ~Rainstar

    Poppystar |Northclan|

She began. "I will start by saying that Northclan has been blessed by Starclan with a large amount of join-ees. There's Seastorm, Cloudkit, Shadowfur, and Honeydew. Also, there's Rainclaw, Barkgaze, and Featherlily." She purred, then grew more somber. "Dawnlily has become one of our Medicine Cats. She will travel to the Moonpool tomorrow." She paused. "Ashclan is still staying in our territory. I don't believe it can stay like this for much longer. There's not enough prey for two Clans. If Foxstar has a proposal, please let him speak." She stepped back, signaling she was done speaking.

    |The Great Oak|

¿At the center of the gathering

    |The Great Oak|

¿At the center of the gathering clearing grows an ancient oak. From it's massive branches the entire gathering can be seen. Here the leaders will announce the news of their clans while their clanmates listen from below. The twisted roots at its base serve as perches for each clans' deputy as well. This is an important place. What is said from the top of this mighty tree will shape the very destiny of the pact clans.
¿
¿Here is The Great Oak and a list of reminders pertaining to it.

¿1. ONLY pact clan leaders should post here. If you are not the leader of Horseclan, Sandclan, Ashclan, Northclan, or Rainclan, then you should not be posting here. Please respect this. It is to ensure that everyone can easily read what each clan leader has to say. The only exception is if your clan leader gives his/her deputy permission to announce in his/her place or if they are pronounced missing. Remember they have all day Sunday to post their speeches. The last leader should also dismiss the gathering. So depending on how quickly the leaders arrive and share their news, the gathering could be long or short. All other cats besides leaders can respond to these announcements in The Gathering Clearing.

¿2. Remember if a leader has gone missing by the time of one gathering and has not returned by the next (or is only briefly on), then the deputy should take on role as leader. This gives the leader at least a full two weeks to be active. Of course if the leader gives warning in advance of his/her absence, then this will not apply. Also if a very active leader were to come back then the two leaders would have to work something out. But clans are only as active as their leaders and I believe leaders should earn their place through hard work.

3. Leaders, please try to post your announcement first thing or asap. You are in charge of these gatherings and I want them to be fun for everyone. That involves being timely. Thanks!
Lilywolf |Horseclan|

The light gray tabby shecat nods to Foxstar as she steps forward and whispers to him, "I am glad to hear that Ashclan has found refuge with Northclan. But what will your clan do should the twolegs choose to stay?" Lilywolf gives him a questioning look, knowing Northclan's territory can't possibly support the two clans for long. Then she turns and adresses the clans below her. "Horseclan has had better times. Velvetstar lost her last life when Starclan warriors took her from us. She hunts now among the stars. She was one of the best leaders Horseclan has ever seen and a great friend. I know it will be many moons before the wound she left on our hearts heals." The shecat struggles to keep her voice strong, the thought of her best friend gone still overwhelming. "However it was Starclan's will that Goldenstripe become Goldenstar and he chose me as his deputy. May Starclan grant him long leadership." The tabby flicks her tail, proud of her mate. "On another note, our warrior Mouseheart has had two kits. However she has since disappeared so any information about her whereabouts would be appreciated. The kits, who have temporarily been named Opal and Falcon, need their mother." The deputy suddenly breaks into a fit of coughing, her infection still bothering her. Hiding the blood that still comes up, she composes herself and continues, "We hsve also taken in two new kits, Rosekit and Bramblekit, and Mouseheart and Rosemist have joined our clan as warriors. Prey is running well as are herbs and we have had no problems with twolegs. Overall, we are stronger then ever despite the challenges we have faced and are ready to defend ourselves from any threat." Lilywolf looks at no cat when she says this but she wants it to be known that her clan is not weak. Having said everything she needs to, the deputy steps back to sit next to Poppystar. ~ Lilywolf &hearts
