Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Well-researched and impeccably written, the Rough Guides are a great choice for anyone seeking to be an informed, prepared traveler. Due to the fantastic essays, the Rough Guides are as much fun for armchair travelers as they are for those actually on the road. Each edition comes with detailed maps, in-depth essays on the history and culture of each destination, a wide range of lodging options, and recommendations for off-the-beaten-path places to visit. The special attention paid to the writing is a boon for travelers, most of whom find themselves reading the guide cover to cover instead of just looking up their specific itineraries.
Booknews
A fresh presentation about Prague. Along with the usual "sights" the book surveys the history of Prague (one of the oldest cities of Europe), provides glossaries, contains sections for women and children's activities, covers the revolutions occurring in various aspects of Czech political, cultural and economic life. There is much here beyond the travel basics; in short, a great bargain at this price. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)

    Pinecone

"My name is Pinecone. I am looking for my daughter, Deercloud. I left her on the edge of a border when she was a kit. I can can't recall which clan though. Is this the clan?" He is very, very skiny and has a gash along the edge of his flank from another rouge.

    |Ashclan's Border|

To the east of The Great Oak

    |Ashclan's Border|

To the east of The Great Oak stands a sturdy forest, echoing with birdsong. Dominated by mostly deciduous trees such as maple and oak along with the occasional pine, these woods even conceal wolverine. Brambles and fallen logs provide shelter from prying eyes while sunlight pierces the canopy, dappling the forest floor with beauty. Deer occasionally prance through this place looking for berries while squirrels chatter noisily, arguing over various stashes of nuts. Several ponds are scattered throughout this place. This rich sanctuary thrives on the ashes of past fires. It is apparent that this is the border to Ashclan's territory, the stealthy and brave.

Hey everyone! Just clarifying the borders of each clan with a little narrative. Remember to patrol your borders daily and attack another clan by posting here and then at their camp. Feel free to have border crisis' to spice things up!
