    Use it!

Dear man-da-sand, as you see, the reviewer said that the teachers were using it. He, unfortunately, did not get to use this wonderful resource. :) I personally used it in an ESL class that I was teaching. Although the kids fretted at the time, a year later they were thrilled when they scored well above their peers on their writing/essay reviews.

    How useful?

If this handbook is so useful, why did the previous reviewer misplace a comma and insert an unnecessary apostrophe? Handbooks should be EFFECTIVE as well as 'handy' if they are to be considered worthwhile.

    A Great Resource

I found this book to be extremely helpful. It answered just about any reference question I had. It is one of the best guides to writing citations.

    You Cannot Fail

...to benefit from the use of this book! I was introduced to Ms. Hacker's book in college which, I am convinced, helped me achieve excellent term papers and projects. I keep her latest edition in my personal library. It is worth every nickle you have to spend and every moment you have to wait for it.
