About the Author

My name is Judy Ortiz. I feel that Lynn Ortiz catches on more than Judy Ortiz when it comes to my books. This one is the first one I have tried to publish in a while. I am no stranger to the emotions felt in my words. I do hope it helps the aching hearts of others. I cannot be found on any social medias except the good old app called kik. I do have to mention my drive to be a successful author comes from my many loving, kind, caring and compassionate teachers. Mrs.Landry my fifth grade science teacher at Lessie Moore Elementary. My mom who loves reading my stories on wattpad. My dad loves to encourage my dreams. My sister Jackie who is sometimes my editor. My partner Andy who is also sometimes my editor. Officer Cortez from pineville elementary who has always believed in me as well. Ms.Harris at pineville high school and Mr. Fleury at pineville high school. Ms.Sheila at Lessie Moore Elementary. Ms.O’Banian (I do not believe that is spelled right) at pineville elementary and Ms.Williams (Ms.Nolan) at pineville elementary. As for my other teachers I’m sure they would’ve encouraged me as they’ve believed in me too. They all helped me get through my school years. A few more special mentions would be my dear friend Corry unfortunately he is no longer with us but he too would be proud of me. My aunt Lena, my uncle David, and my aunt Bonnie they are also no longer with us but they too would’ve been proud and would’ve encouraged me. My best friends Rian, Kaylie, and Megan and their partner all would love to see this and also be proud along with Rian and Megan’s mom whom I call Mama Donna and another one is Mama Rachel. I’m friendly, happy and have myself gone through some tough times. I want to spread joy similar to how these teachers, staff members, family members and friends have done for me. A couple of last mentions are Ms.Williams this one is no longer with us and she was my kindergarten teacher and she lost the fight with cancer and I do not remember how long ago that was. My childhood friend Thomas who has been there for me through a good bit and he’s like a brother to me. My long distance friend Elijah whom lives in Canada. My long distance bestie Sage who also lives in Canada. Ms.Armstead who was my special ed teacher and I know not where she is, but she was the sweetest teacher. I love all the ones mentioned and I’m truly grateful for them.
