A prerequisite to any Shamanic journey is a period of building (waiting). That is, it is a time when the student is made ready for their initiation. My initiation into fire would be no exception and the tools used by spirit would come in the form of poetry. Poetry of fire helped prepare me – continuing to help me integrate and understand the ongoing journey. Both the words and rhythm of the poetry seemed to impact me at a deeper level of consciousness.
Specific to this journey of fire, I would physically heat up, literally becoming alive with fire (passion) of spirit. This was a very profound experience indeed.
It is with great pleasure that I now share some of this poetry with you – sharing this unique energy, both delicate yet powerful words that were shared with me.
