Overview

Chevelle's debut, Point #1, finds them collaborating with producer Steve Albini to create forceful, mercurial indie rock. Dynamic rhythms and melodies predominate on the album, and songs like "Open," "Dos," and "Blank Earth" combine delicate interludes with blasts of noise. In line with Chicago's ambitious music scene, Chevelle's challenging take on rock is also a rewarding one.

I give this song, point # 1 a very excellent rating, I myself have listened to many bands, this one has a excellent beat and rythum to Point # 1, and open. very well played out, loved to hear more of this kind of this kind of music, headbanger style.

chevelle has the deeply expressive vocal sylings after a like of TOOL, but with a vulnerable element like that of AT THE DRIVE-IN. The instruments are beautiful, the words are... i don't know. i do not believe that anything i could say here would do them any justice. -c
