    Point Click Quilt

I found this book so very interesting. Susan talks about shooting objects in a way that translates into interesting quilts. She writes about shooting otherwise uninteresting objects and and turning them beautiful quilts. Susan also includes information about color, value, composition, and the rule of thirds. She includes several quilt projects and patterns in the book. This book will make you grab your camera and go shoot a quilt.

    Beyond Excellent

The excellence of this book shines through. It has opened a new world of art quilting to me. I was always afraid of perspective and shadows/shadings. Using a photograph removes those barriers and this book gave me the tools to move forward in an area that was new to me but of much interest. I am still working through some of the exercises and becoming a better photographer as well as a budding art quilter. It has given me ideas for several series quilts. Discusses color, value, design. Also covered is how to take photographs with quilts in mind. Anyone can learn from this book and the learning crosses artistic barriers with ease. I highly reccommend Susan Knapp's Point, Click, Quilt.
