Great book, but you should read the books before it in the series first. My favorite part was the battle in the sea.

This book has a lot more battle action than the other ones. They just seem so short! They should make a whole collection of them when they finish. Overall, the book is good and the illustrations are funny and cool. Cyrus just seems like a big weirdo though. I would recommend this book.

I was very excited when I picked up the most recent US release of Pokemon DP-what's the deal with Deoxys? While I loved it, some things disappointed me. There is only three "main story" chapters as opposed to five-the other two chapters tell the story of Deoxys. While it's cool to have some relief from the slightly darkening plot, it feels kinda cheap. If I was a child in Japan, I could simply wait for the next issue of CoroCoro to see what happens next, but I have to either wait a few months or go online and risk spoilers. Another thing that annoyed me was gender confusion towards Commander Saturn. Saturn is male, though was referred to as "she" a few times. The characters would then switch to "he". I know Saturn has a bit of a bishonen (male character drawn with attributes typically associated with females) style in this magna series, but still! It makes me wish I could read Japanese and could import this book-I would like to see how characters refer to Saturn. Of course, if I could read Japanese, I wouldn't have to worry about transalation delays, but that's beside the point. Either way, I recommend this book, though I think the story and characters suffered developement. Now to wait for the next release!

This book had a lot of humor and action. It tells all about what happens at the end of book two. A great book to read and to share with friends.

My grandson loves playing Pokemon. When we go to Barnes and Noble, he will beg to let him get a Pokemon book. He enjoyed it very much.
