The headline of this book is that its about pokemon and it teaches you a lesson.

I loved it! It was awesome! The reason I picked this book out is because I love Pokemon. You can't tell which Pokemon is coming next. I know evry Pokemon, Bulbasuar, Garitina, Dialga, Palkia. You name it I tell ya! I would recomend this book to a friend that likes Pokemon or not, and the reason that I said that is because it dosen't matter if you like Pokemon it's about the book that's what my Libraian said to me one day. And now I read all the time right now I have 7 books out! So I guess what I'm trying to say is donn't judge anything by it's cover. When I started to read it I couldn't put it down untill I was finished reading it! Anyway I was wondering if you had the new Pokemon book "Pokemon Dimond And Pearl vol 2." Well if you do have it pleas E-mail me. My E-mail is ristyl@comcast.net. Well I hope you like my report! Bye! By the way I'm 9. Bye again!

    AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!

I totally love this book! This is the best manga I've ever read, and being a Pokemon fan, I love it even more. ^_^ The plot is really cool and I love the characters and everything! If you're a Pokemon fan, you'll be addicted to this!

    I Also Recommend:

Alright, but overshadowed by the games,

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Ginji's Rescue Team tells the story of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team/Blue Rescue Team, in a general sense. Some of the plot is changed in an effort to make the entire plot fit into a one volume book as well as to keep it refreshing to people who know the game's story.

All the same, I'm not entirely happy with some of the story changes they chose to make. It both spoils the game and doesn't tell it in as interesting of a light at the same time. Without giving it away, I was rather upset by the ending the manga writer chose for this version especially.

Still, if they don't take it too seriously, fans can still get a kick out of it. The manga's strongest suit is that it's funny.

However, if you're also a video gamer, I'd check out the game, then check out this book. I regret not doing that myself, as the game's story is much more emotional, and I actually found I enjoyed the manga more as a twisted recap/parody. Or if it's a choice between Blue or Time/Darkness/Sky, then get Sky (AMAZING plot in that game) and use this to get a rough idea what the first game was like.

Not bringing the game into this; it's not the best and not the worst of Pokemon manga. At the least worth a checkout at the library for older fans of Pokemon (and possibly fans of PMD will love it b=just because it's PMD, which is fine and part of the reason I bought this), and younger fans should enjoy it.

    Fun Book

Really cute with vivid illustrations. Summarizes the first Mystery Dungeon game fairly well while adding a little bit of the artist's creative touch to the storyline. Great for any kid or avid pokemon fan.
