    okay for beginners

I am approaching this book as a complete beginner to the Polish language, and I must admit that I still find the text quite a challenge. While it is well-written and relatively easy to comprehend, I found that a few other texts were perhaps just a bit easier to follow. I do like the fact that one may peruse the book from any starting point and proceed at one's own pace, and overall, I do recommend this book for anyone serious about learning some Polish.

A great language book, BUT DON'T BUY IT FOR YOUR NOOK--it has a CD which you will need.

It is fairly well written, but I have had no exposure to the Polish alphabet and language and it is different from every other language I have been exposed to (English, Spanish and French).

This is the hardest language I have ever attempted and I will be lucky to learn, "Hello, Goodbye, Thanks and Your Welcome" over the next month before I head for Poland.
