This book is terrible! Why would you want to gender stereotype your children? "Cinderella always picks up her toys", yeah she picks up her sewing kit. " "Snow White always waits her turn" Shouldn't it be ladies first? Disney should make a book about one of the Princesses saying no to marriage to go and follow their own dreams not a princes.

My daughter (age 4) loves almost any princess book. She enjoys having us read it to her before bed. One of the best parts for parents is that it isn't a long book, so it can be read pretty quick to satisfy that bed-time story craving. For kids, my daughter likes to look at it in bed and with the colorful pictures she can tell the story herself, even though she can't fully read. Good book for kids and parents.

It's nice to have a princess book that I don't have to sensor for my 2 year old daughter. Parents aren't dying, stepsisters aren't mean, witches aren't trying to poison anyone... and as a bonus, you get your child to remember that manners are a good thing!

In this book children can find short events of familiar character stories that focuses attention on different aspects of life. Have you ever noticed during reading princess stories that Ariel did not interrup her father's conversation with a friend or Snow white was waiting for her turn? When I bought this book I knew that it will show good examples for children how to listen to stories in some new ways. It is really good for adults also to practice how to notice little "things" while they are reading stories to their children. When my little girl had this book in her hand she loved it so much right from the beginning that she kept asking me to read it to her many times.
