All books of the P.I.G. series are meant to be controversial, and this will enrage extreme feminists. But those who care about the well-being of any young women (12--40) should agree that they deserve all the facts regarding such important decisions as sex, marriage, children, divorce, and career. This book isn't nearly complete in this regard, but is a plausible first step. Perhaps its best point is that organizations claiming to represent women's interests often try to conceal information not politically convenient for the groups. Unfortunately, the book does not cover some topics that would seem to be natural, e.g., health effects of contraceptives and the effectiveness (or not) of internet matchmaking services. Furthermore, the surprising number of printing errors undercuts many of the authors's good points, making me reluctant to give more than three stars.

Some men don't think that this book isn't about them. My wife make one a good dinner and the best darn american apple pie, and she no dummy. I would not allow her to think that.

This book does a good job of debunking feminist myths that have brainwashed many young women. It is fun, yet substantive and succinctly written. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I have been concerned that all is not well between men & women in the feminist world. This book puts into words many reasons for discomfort with feminist philosophy and gives a better understanding of what is wrong between men and women. Was this review helpful?
