Overview

Derived from theologian Wayne Grudem’s Politics—According to the Bible, this digital short outlines five misguided approaches Christians take to politics and a way that is both more biblical and better for society. Grudem describes the five misguided approaches as follows:

  • Government should compel religion
  • Government should exclude religion
  • All government is evil and demonic
  • Do evangelism, not politics
  • Do politics, not evangelism

In their place, Grudem argues for a view that he calls significant Christian influence on government. Provocative and compelling, How Christians Should Relate to Government will prod the thinking of politically minded Christians, regardless of which party they favor.

Dr Wayne Grudem really goes in depth into the history of America and how much the political climate has changed and remapped our country. This is a great book for anyone interested in knowing the vision the Founding Fathers had for this country; when we started going off track; and what is our responsibility toward government today. This book is for any 'thinking' person who really cares about the future of America.

He stands in a clearing. All of a sudden, a cat bursts in. It is bigger than him. He thinks for a millisecond, then dashes towards the cat at top speed. The cat rears up, but Fluffkit flips onto his back and slodes under the cat. He thrusts up his hind legs, sending the cat toppling over backwards, belly exposed. He leaps onto the cat's stomach, plunging his front claws into the cat's soft belly fur. The cat hisses in pain and fury. Fluffkit dashes around to the cat's head as it stands. He darts around and sinks his teeth into the cat's hind leg, churning his back claws against the cat's front leg and side. The cat thrashes until fluffkit lets go and leaps onto his back. He unstheathes all four claws and just tears at anything he can reach until he is knocked off. He hisses as the cat retreats into the woods. Fluffkit stays alert, beginning to wash his wounds.
