All Music Guide - Cub Koda
When you've already recorded a hundred albums, what to do you do for an encore? In the case of polka meister Jimmy Sturr, you start up the second half of your recording career with an even blend of instrumentals and vocals, including two vocals sung in Polish. If anyone has broadened the base of polka music, it's Jimmy Sturr, and here's a dozen sterling examples of how he does it.

    Nice album Jimmy

I was looking for some upbeat polka music and happened across this CD by Jimmy Sturr. It is such a pleasure to listen to and makes me happy and want to polka!! The musicians on this CD are wonderfully arranged and recorded. My only complaint with this CD is that the twelve selections are quite brief and would love to hear a polka jam!!
