POLLY, STUBBY & AL IS A CHILDREN’S READER.

This is a true story about a family and their three pets. It takes place in the 1920s, and based on my grandparents and their two daughters, my mother and aunt.

Polly is a multi-colored talking parrot, Stubby is a lovable, bow-legged English bulldog, and Al is a wild black crow that once he learns to speak, turns out to be the funniest and most mischievous of them all. Together the pets create chaos, anxiety and many hilarious situations for their owners.
