I found this book a joy to read and use in my art. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in making advanced polymer clay jewelry.

I am a beginner at working with polymer clay and I found the steps outlined in this book easy to follow, illustrated with good photos, and the techniques are definitely useful to a beginner. Not all the specific colors/designs chosen here appeal to me but of course I can substitute my own preferences for my projects. Almost all of the techniques require a pasta machine to condition and press the clay and an oven dedicated to baking polymer clay is also recommended because the fumes can leave toxic traces; these were equipment outlays that surprised and discouraged me, at least temporarily. I haven't looked at many other polymer clay bead books so I don't know if this is how most people do it or the preference of the author of this book. On the whole it is an attractive, useful, and inspiring book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
