With the publication of his novel Tapping the Source, Kem Nunn was hailed by Elmore Leonard as a writer "who is one of a rare breed, who isn't afraid to plot and tell a story." Now Nunn tells about a salesman who strays into the crossfire of revenge . . . and endless terror. "A blackly funny thriller, and a peek at the apocalypse."--Entertainment Weekly.

Perhaps, because I grew up in SoCal, I loved this book more than I might have if I had grown up in, say, Montana, but I found the plot, characters and Mr. Nunn's writing style (quirky) , perfectly suited to my literary taste. I have given this book to many Calif. ex-pats and it was loved by all. I gave a copy to a friend who grew up in Florida, and she just didn't get it. So, it might not be everyone's drug of choice, but it certainly was mine. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
