    A Wonderful Classic

This is the same set, with all the beautiful illustrations that my son had 'when he was very small', the same set that my first granddaughter was given ten years ago, and that I am now buying for a new grandniece. Milne's stories are imaginative and transcend all ages. I can still sit and read these books and appreciate the art in my 50s! I would highly recommend this set of books for any child; for a parent to read to their baby, and later for a child to learn to read. The stories speak to children today as they did so long ago when Milne wrote them. A wonderful addition to anyone's library of fine literature and art.

I enjoy Winnie the Poo and friends as much now as when they were read to me as a child.
So creative, so gentle and humorous, these books delight every child to whom I've given them. Even my grand-niece who's eight, enjoys them, although my fear was that she'd find them babyish. So many of the subtleties escape the understanding of young children, but entertain the adults reading to them!
