Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Tipplers who've longed for a way to consume their favorite beverages on a stick will find Laura Fyfe's collection of 40-odd boozy popsicles to be the answer to their slurred prayers as she guides them through the simple process of transforming popular cocktails like the White Russian, Irish Coffee, Cosmopolitan, Tequila Sunrise and others into frozen treats. Employing a relatively simple technique—whip up simple syrup, add booze and fruit juice, pour into popsicle molds—Fyfe's foolproof process will enable even the most timid of hosts to create some flavorful desserts, aperitifs, and summertime accompaniments. Granted, not everything's on a stick—she's got granitas, slushes, and alcohol-laden ice creams to break up the monotony—but the majority of her dishes stick to her popsicle premise, and will likely find their way into many a summertime celebration.
