    Required reading for all Americans, especially our government leaders.

    This book is as relevant today if not more so, when it was first written in the late 60's and when I first read it at university in the 70's. Ehrlich was closer to predicting the current world situation in the 21st Century than most of his other contemporaries. He underestimated the actual world population by almost half, but was right on with most of his other comments. Fuel, food and water shortages are a reality now. This book, then, influenced my life's personal conservation efforts that's how powerful it is. Amazing, for just a textbook to have that effect. I hope it stays in print for many years to come.
