Meet the Author

Suzanne Simon Dietz is editor and writer of Porter's Past for the Porter Historical Society and the author of articles on women and the church. She lives in town on a farm that has been in her husband's family since the mid-1800s. For Porter, she selected photographs from the collections of the Porter Museum, Old Fort Niagara Association, Ransomville Museum, Niagara Falls Public Library, and numerous private collections. Her meticulous research and concern for accuracy bring this delightful history into sharp perspective.
