    Serves as a nice little intro to the full novel, like a prologue

    Serves as a nice little intro to the full novel, like a prologue, and about the same length as a prologue would be. You get an explanation of the cover art, so it helps to have the actual book in front of you when you read this. It's not written in a particularly sophisticated way, but then, neither was the book; this reads at about a 6th grade level. You don't need this to understand the book, and it doesn't add anything to the story presented in "Starters", so if you're looking for "The further adventures of Callie" you might be disappointed. However, it's a great teaser for the second novel, "Enders", which is coming out at the end of 2012. I can't see why more authors don't do this: write a short chapter to be released every few months to keep your readers hungry for more and maintain their interest in the charcters. At $1.99, why not?

    Good, but worth the price?

    The description says this little ebook is 30 pages, but it is only 15 pages long... $1.99 for 15 pages? That's a little steep in my opinion.

    Too short!!!!!

    When I bought this book, I knew it would be short, because it.was only $1.99. I expected at least 30-40 pages. Instead, it was only 15, 7 of which were title pages. It was a good little story, but definitely not worth the money.

    Great little nudge into the mind of Michael. Lissa is an amazing storyteller. Can't wait till the next ebook short!!!

    Awesome

    This was a good little short story, wasnt the longest, only 15pages but it does tell you about how Starters got its cover......... i liked it
