    QUICK ANSWERS FOR BUSY PARENTS

I really like the A-Z format. It is easy to quickly look up my concern of the moment and get insight into the issue as well as practical things to try with my 4 kids. I don't have time to read an entire book on the subject. I have referred to this book many times. I also would like to recommend a new book I found called 'The Pocket Parent'. This book has been written in the same quick read A-Z format. However, it is exclusively written for parents of 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's. For questions about my younger children, I like 'The Pocket Parent' better. A 3-year-old's lies, anger, bad words, friendship issues, concept of death, etc. are quite different than those same issues relating to a teenager. 'Positive Discipline A-Z' is written for parents of tots-teens. In some topics, I found the information more geared to the grade-school years and up (6-teens). I highly recommend both books. However, if your questions are relating to preschoolers, I prefer the A-Z guide called 'The Pocket Parent'. It's specific, reassuring, and funny.
