Two professional poker players joined forces and wrote this book about the differences between limit and no-limit poker, and how to make the transition to playing the no-limit game. Several types of games are used to illustrate the basic concepts, including Texas Hold 'Em, Stud and Omaha. Some of the games will not be of interest to most players (London Lowball, anyone?) but they are used to make a larger point that might best be shown through the rules of that particular game. This is not beginner reading, and even the advanced player will probably need to re-read this book several times to use its advice to maximum benefit. Those of you who will benefit from this book, you know who you are. Also try the recommendations below.
