Power of a Godly Grandparent: Building a Spiritual Inheritance for Your Grandchildren

First of all, I am not a Grandparent. The title of this book will limit the market that might purchase it and gain from its contents. This book will guide you in how to be a Godly person, whether or not you are a niece, nephew, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, mother, father, In-Law, boss, employee and yes, even a Grandparent. This book flows smoothly, is very readable and an awesome journey to read. The Biblical insight is a recipe for all relationships. I highly recommend it.

    PRACTICAL, INSPIRING

This book provided loads of suggestions to help with long-distance grandparenting. Though the grandkids are spread across the country, now can keep close to each one. So grateful for the helps and encouragement in this book! And a manageable reading size!

Friendly and Fun Ways to Enjoy Grandparenting

Grandchildren are a special gift from God. Grandparents can choose to encourage, to enhance the lives of these precious little ones-without alienating parents--without competing with the other set(s) of grandparents. Stories included affirm the love of children for grandparents. One eight-year-old said he and his grandfather were best friends and grandpa now lived in heaven. Authors Stephen and Janet Bly write from their own experiences as well as those of dozens of interviewed grandparents and grandchildren. The authors reveal the power of grandparents' prayers in difficult as well as everyday situations. Throughout the book, Scripture passages offer insight to help grandparents understand the God-given gifts they can give their grandchildren. The Power of a Godly Granndparent is a 'friendly' book, not a step by step 'How-To.' It is full of stories and wonderful ideas to help readers grow into the kind of grandparents pleasing to God--to parents and grandkids.
