Saved my marriage and me as a wife

My marriage had fallen apart. This was my second marriage and I loved my husband too much to just give up. I felt like such a failure. I picked up this book and read through it and learned that in order to save my marriage and relationship with my spouse I had to place God first in my life and not so much my marriage, I needed to place my marriage in God's hands. I learned something very difficult and that was 'letting go' of trying to change my husband and asking God to change me so that the changes with my husband could take place according to his Will. So many changes have occurred in our lives now and even though we have alot of work ahead of us, all the changes have been through the Grace of God. We are both going to church together, something that was made very clear, would never occur. This is a powerful book for those seeking assistance in prayer for your marriage.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how incredible this book is. Every wife should definately own one. I have learned that praying, for my husband, about EVERYTHING, rather than getting down on him or arguing and even worrying about him, is so much more effective. God will take care of everything as long as you learn how to ask and are willing. This book teaches you all of that and more. It is a great book!!!

IT WILL CHANGE YOU BOTH

I recommend this book for every couple. My relationship was OVER! After reading this book, things began to change for us. It is now 2 years later and we are going strong and getting better everyday. Thanks Stormie Omartian. IF YOU NEED HELP, YOU MUST GET THIS BOOK.

CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

A few days after my husband and I filed for divorce, God put it on my heart to read this book. I read chapter one and we stopped the divorce. I finished the book and continue to pray the prayers in it daily. We are now happily married and more in love than when our love was brand new. Through this book God was able to completely change my life. I HIGHLY recommend it to every woman.

A friend that understands

This book was given to me on my wedding day by my mother-in-law. My husband and I have been married almost eight years, and I still think this book was the best wedding present we ever got. I return to this book over and over again. Weather it's informantion, comfort, or modivation I need, this book never fails to deliver.

every person who is thinking of marriage must read this book.

I read this book and now i have purchased it for so many others. I never read a book that was able to totaly give such plain instruction about marriage and having faith. I now know that God can change any thing if i pray and place what i want God to do in my life in my prayers and let dout die. Then i shall recieve it.

This is a blessing

I read this book before my marriage I also got a copy of Power of a praying Husband. He loved the book we talk about the books and how it plays a part in or life. When I feel the enemy trying to break us apart we pray and look back on prayers in this book. I have told every couple about this book and what changes it has made for us.

Recommended for all Married Couples

I purchased this book and now I never leave home with out it. I brought the companion book, Power of a Praying Husband for my hubby and he is totally in love with it. We now recommend it to all married couples. This book allows you to look at your husband in a way you never have before. I definitely related to some of the instances in the book and it is a wonderful resource in my life. A lot of times we don't know what to pray for concerning out husbands but this book will put it all in prospective.

Life Changing for us as a couple

I was frustrated with how our marriage was going. I had prayed every day but this book gave me a new and more effective way to pray for my husband and myself. I learned so much and am thankful God inspired Stormie to write this book. Prayer works!!

FOR EVERY WIFE

I have to say that this book has helped me a great deal in dealing with the everyday stresses of marriage. I've been married for almost 3 years and found that I used prayer as a last resort time after time. I've found that by praying first and always, I've become a better wife. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERY WIFE OUT THERE. I bought it only a few months after getting married and have found it to be absolutely wonderful.

I could have written this book.

I feel like I've lived her life in many ways. I used to complain to and about my husband. I never thought of praying for my husband and it has helped a great deal. Her three little words, 'Change Me, Lord', has changed my life.

MADE ME A BELIEVER

After nearly coming to a divorce, I picked up this book and read its entirety. I never knew how much praying can impact someone. My marriage was basically shattered, don't get me wrong, we have a lot of work to do, but this book has helped me with some issues and made sure I put God first and also making sure God is in my husband's life as well. This is an EXCELLENT BOOK!!!

A praying wife

This book has been an inspiration to me and to my life. I, like many people, thought everything in our marriage was his fault. This book allowed me to realize that before our marriage could change, I had to change. Also, I never realized how much praying for your husband could change our lives. I have recommended this book to many of my friends and my mother.

Wonderful book to improve you and your marriage.

I checked this book out from the library and have decided I definitely need a copy of my own. This book shows that a wife (I think it would be good for any woman) should lean on God and pray for her husband in different aspects of his life...from his work, his protection, his priorities and more. Instead of asking God to change our husband, we pray to God for our husbands. This is such an enlightening book. I have definitely noticed a change in me and my husband - and it has only been a week. He does not even know I have this book nor does know I have been praying for him every day since I had the book. Thank you Stormie! Truly, God has worked his wonders through her.

A must to read!

This book is a must for a married women. If you want a better marriage you mite want to get this book. I've been married 12,yrs and needed to stop looking at my husband in the flesh, But learn to pray and watch the Lord Jesus change him. Sometime it's better to pray then speak what you see. 28, Married, homemaker, mother of 2 small boys

I have been together with my husband for 11 years, married six. I thought our marriage would withstand anything until recently. We have been having such problems that we have considered divorce. I had tried everything that I thought would fix it. Well i was wrong. I was told by a cousin of mine to read this book. I received it today and began to read it. I didnt get through the first couple of pages without crying and realizing that I had been doing EVERYTHING that I believed to be right was indeed WRONG. I have read 61 pages in only a few hours time and learned so much about man. Boy are they complex. I have faith in God that he will work this whole mess out. I will definately recommend this book to every woman out there. I have also purchased the 'Power of a praying parent' and look foward to reading that as well. I just want to thank the author of these books because i just know that we will all benefit from them. God Bless

Change my life

Reading this book and also working with the praying wife journal has given me a new perspective on life. I feel calmer, better understanding of prayer and our Lord. Although i pray for my hubby daily, this book desire broaden and enrich my prayer life..highly recommend...

How to edify your husband

This is an excellent resource for bathing your husband in prayer. The areas Omartian covers are very relevent and very vulnerable areas of attack for every Chrisian husband, starting with us, their wives. She not only made me aware of areas I had overlooked but offered Scripture to embed in and empower my prayers.
