John Lennon was the most famous and influential artist of the 20th Century. Without John Lennon, the Beatles would never exist. Thirty after his death on December 8, 1980, his music and his spirit is still alive. In addition to the Signature Box Set which I bought it for Christmas, I bought the new greatest hits collection, Power to the People: The Hits (CD/DVD). It includes all of the best known hits that John Lennon recorded as a solo artist. If you bought the other best of or greatest hits collections like The John Lennon Collection, Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon, and Working Class Hero: The Definitive Lennon, then you can add this to your best of or greatest hits to your cd collection.

John Lennon affected my Musical sense of style After seeing the Documentary of him with wife, Mrs. Yoko Ono.They Loved as Passionately about Everything as no Two people I had ever observed. They Were Exactly the Way the film showed.Generous and Peacefull.Asking questions of those whom represented a group With~out Answers. So, their Music reflected the frustration.Looking back~how kind were people really? He was a 'meal ticket' to so many 'hangers on' and those who looked at the 'pay~off' and not the contribution to England or the United States. We embraced him and his wife and richly rewarded,Music that stands up to this New Year's Eve.For me, the Earth stopped on its axis for a full day in December 1980.I mourne the Man he was Becoming. The Music was Always there/here now to Comfort. These 'hits' are the Life Lived. Cherish and Learn...Remember,a kind deed is worth All if given w/Love...
