Overview

All human endeavors have the common goal of understanding or influencing human experience. To this end, man has developed numerous descriptive and analytical disciplines: Morality, Philosophy, Psychology, and so on. Regardless of what branch of inquiry one starts from-philosophy, political theory, theology-all avenues of investigation eventually converge at a common meeting point: the quest for an organized understanding of the nature of pure consc iousness. To explain that which is simple can be difficult indeed. Much of this book is devoted to the process of making the simple obvious. If we can understand even one simple thing in depth, we will have greatly expanded our capacity for comprehending the nature of the universe and life itself.

This book was the foundation of my own spiritual awakening and development. The CORRECT application of Dr. Hawkins¿ consciousness research technique provides the humble reader with a remarkably sound method of discerning truth from falsehood, such as separating the fallacious teachers (regardless of their appeal, glamorization or even ¿celebrity status¿) from those that truly provide spiritual guidance with the utmost integrity, love and compassion. Furthermore, readers (that are earnestly) seeking truth realize an expanded level of consciousness and a significant leap in spiritual development, as well as a greater understanding of ordinary yet often confusing human behavior. However, readers that are absorbed in narcissism and therefore trapped within the confines of their own egos will probably become irritated at their own inability to accurately use consciousness research. It is not for everyone, as not everyone is earnestly seeking truth. The spiritual devotee awakens upon reading Power vs. Force. This is a tremendous opportunity in learning to assess the truth of anything, and Dr. Hawkins clearly explains the simple technique and why it works.

David Hawkins has poured a lifetime of learning into this book. Although I needed a dictionary, and referred to it 3 and sometimes 4 times a page while I was reading, I closed the book with the knowledge that I had learned something which would change my life. This book is a must for 'spiritual seekers'. It has given me a sense of direction and now I'm afraid that the next book I read will be a disappointment!! Congratulations and many thanks to Mr. Hawkins.

A fantastic book and ideology great series I've read them all with or without the applied kinesiology his books deal in depth of enlightenment forgiveness and understanding our self in this world the book does explain the levels of consciousness and anyone under a level of 200 cannot use it and kinesiolgy so they would think it was garbage POI

If you are drawn to this book and have experience discerning the various patterns inherent in non-linear dynamics', it will change everything. If you areba tool, then you will see pseudo science and snake oil. One must Fool the Emperor to cross the Ocean. (36 strategems)

This book certainely influenced the way that I look at life. Dr. Hawkin's also wrote many books to follow, which take an open mind and some serious reflection. I enjoyed and learned something of value from them all.

His approach is interesting. His levels of emotions are helpful. He makes basic assumptions for his testing to work. If a result does not fit his assumptions then he disregards the results which skews the true value. While his theory is interesting his approach lacks integrity.

The book attempts to justify its contents on the basis of a non-science of called applied kinesiology. Well I tested in at 1000 thus I must be correct. Garbage! The man is a huckster that would make even PT Barnum cringe.
