Overview

Do you want to improve your ability to shoot long range? If so, you should definitely add this book to your collection.

This book was written to help "practical" shooters to improve their "long game" by educating them as to what actually matters "downrange" and teaches the skills necessary to achieve success at extended ranges.

The book is written in a "conversational" tone so as to keep things simple and to ensure that it is easy to follow and understand.

If you understand and implement the concepts and training advice given in this book, you will:

•Improve your long-range shooting skills i.e., your hit probability...
•Improve your ability to "read" the wind and adjust for it...
•Know how to estimate range using multiple methods...
•Know how to set up your rifle "system" up correctly to ensure long-range success...
•Know how to select the right equipment to achieve success at long-range...
•Know how to develop leads for moving targets...
•Know how to account for shooting uphill/downhill...
•You will have a deeper knowledge of the required skillset and be able to pass the information on to friends, family, or future generations...

These are just SOME of the things that you will learn.

This book also includes some basic tips and advice based on the author's years of experience as a full-time Counter-Terrorism Operator and Sniper. If you are an experienced shooter, this guide will be a resource covering the principles and theory of long-range shooting.

About the Author

Jeremy Geurtjens is the Owner and Founder of Skill At Arms Ltd.

His background is Tactical Law Enforcement. Specifically, he has worked in Counter-Terrorism, Sniper/Counter Sniper, Close Protection and other High-Risk Tactical Policing roles.

He is incredibly passionate about all things firearms and wants to pass on his experience so as to help others achieve their own shooting goals.

Despite his background, Jeremy believes that the Adult Learning and Education courses that he has completed over the years are the most important skills that he has.

Those Adult Learning & Education courses taught him not only how students learn new skills BUT ALSO, what it takes to teach those skills properly.
The fact that he has a background in Tactical Law Enforcement, is a qualified Firearms Instructor, and that he continues to shoot in Competition and for fun is merely a bonus.

Jeremy likes to use the following analogy to explain why he believes that his background comes second to the Adult Learning courses that he has completed.

In professional sport, a "great player" rarely goes on to become a "great coach" later in their career without first learning how to teach.

Jeremy believes that this principle applies to all sports, shooting included.

Just because a person has the "skill set" and is capable of performing at the highest levels of Military, Law Enforcement, or Competition, it doesn't mean that they are the best person to teach those skills.

With Skill At Arms Ltd, Jeremy's goal is to provide world-class training to people all around the world and is exactly why he offers "online" courses for those who can't travel to New Zealand to train with him.

You can find out more by heading over to the Skill At Arms website (skillatarms.com).

As far as downtime goes...when Jeremy is not working, he enjoys hunting with his friends and spending quality time with his family.
