John Owens (1964) was born in a small sleepy town in rural Georgia. Due to family expenses, he was not able to enjoy the complete experience of university life. However, for thirty years, he informally but diligently studied the brain and emotions, observed and tested the psychology, handwriting, behavior and idiosyncrasies of all he encountered. This education culminated in coaching, mentoring, healing and changing the lives of his clients in his hypnotherapy practice.
Today, as healer, he has expanded his practice on two continents - using his own method - The JOImethod. His first book, Clinical Hypnosis: Why and How It Works has sold copies on six continents. As of 2010, his method of healing has culminated in becoming a consultant seeing clients in three pharmacies, a private spa, a spiritual center, a wellness center in a five star hotel, and at the various establishments owned by the prestigious St. James Hospital Group in Malta.
In January 2011, he was invited as guest speaker (Hypnosis and Smoking) at the Maltese Cardiac Society. In July 2011, he was invited as a weekly guest hypnotherapist for NET TV in Malta on the show Kaxxa Jan.
