Meet the Author

For the last fifteen years, Dr. Hopper has been the Study Skills coordinator for the Developmental Studies Department at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. She is also a nationally known lecturer and workshop leader on topics such as learning styles, memory techniques, time management, effective classroom techniques, using technology in the classroom, and attention deficit disorder. She is a consultant for the National Education Foundation and has won numerous awards including the Carnegie Foundation's Tennessee Professor of the Year Award, Tennessee Association for Developmental Education Outstanding Teacher Award, and MTSU's Outstanding Teaching Award.

    Practice College Learning Strategies 3e

    This is the 3rd edition of an already great book on strategies that successful students need to know. It is concise and has lots of hands-on practice. This edition has brain bytes which explain what current brain research says to confirm the strategies pressented. My students love it.
