The book is organized into 5 parts. The first part called "Foundations" consisting of 7 chapters contains key terms and definitions in OD, models and Origins of OD, practitioner competencies, mindful leadership, and post-modern OD. The second part consisting of 7 chapters entitled "OD Process to Guided Change" covers marketing, pre-launch, launch, implementation, evaluation, and separation. Part Three consist of "Levels and Types of Change:" Organizational Culture and interventions across levels: individual, teams, large systems, whole systems, and inter-levels. Part four "Special Issue in OD" discusses Global OD, positive states of of organizing, sustainability, organization design, technology, merges and acquisitions, values, ethics, human systems dynamics, technology, transformational learning journeys, strategic change and fitness, HR-OD audits, Gestalt theory and approach, whole systems transformations. The book concludes with Part Five: "The Future of Organizational Development" Any serious business owner or starting with executives to managers wanting to survive and excel in these uncertain and most difficult of times need to read this book.
