Julianne MacLean's book is a wonderful historical romance. Her story is an incredibly well written tale of a woman on the run who becomes a mail order bride. The way the story is written, you just have to keep turning those pages! Great Job Julianne! Can't wait for your next novel.

Fortunately they straighten it out. I found Briggs a little to hard nosed for my taste. You would have to be desperate to put up with him. But it was a decent story.

So what had made him think a stranger, especially a beautiful one, could ever help him salvage his dreams? Sarah MacFarland's mail-order-bride marriage to Mr. Brigman was heaven-sent. She only hoped that the silent rancher was as honest as he appeared, for Sarah's unspoken past already held enough lies and scandal to last her...
