Helped a lot with Praxis 1

The math was a good review section and was a bit easier than the test, but it did put me in the right frame of mind for math. The Sample Essay Questions were a perfect practice - I actually had a very similar, but popular question as my essay question during the test. I suggest to take a Math class refresher before taking the Praxis I test. I am using this book to now prep for the Praxis II - Content Knowledge.

    A reviewer

This book was somewhat helpful when I prepared for my Praxis I test. When I compared it to the ETS version of the test, the ETS questions were a lot harder than the ones in this workbook.

    Test taker

I bought this book to review for the GACE Basic Skills. The math was okay except there were no full explantions after taking the practice questions. In the reading section, the paragraphs were too short and the reading was easy compared to the actual test. The writing- grammer section was also too easy in this book compared to the actual test. I would not recommend this book as a preparation material for the GACE Basic Skils test.
