Pray

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Ashleigh Kittle
Pray, released by Forefront Records in 1998, is the follow-up project to Rebecca St. James' much talked about album, God. The release mirrors the alternative rock style St. James adopted in her sophomore album, straying from the CCM sounds featured on her debut project. Songs include the title cut, "Come Quickly Lord," and "Omega." Pray also covers Rich Mullins' "Hold Me Jesus" and Keith Green's "Lord You're Beautiful."

    I loved it!!

The Pray album by Rebecca St. James is excellent! I got it for Christmas and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard the first song! It is definitely not her best album, but it is really good! If you love Rebecca St. James and maybe even if you just want something good to listen to then this is the CD for you! Wonderful job Rebecca!

    A tremendous album!

I bought this CD about a year ago, and from the FIRST listen, was intrigued by this young Austrailian singer. Rebecca's singing is fine throughout the disc, and all the songs are distinguished, no ''filler'' matierial here. Favorite songs of mine are Omega, and OK. OK is a song to listen to, if you are having a rough week. It will improve your mood quick, and make you remember that God is always with you. ~smiles~ Not a weak song on ''Pray'', and Rebecca looks to have a fabulous career ahead of her. I recommend this CD, it is a great.

    Great music- especially for teenagers

She has awesome beats that don't sound so Beethoven-like- get it? Her songs are very touching/ involved. She is my over- all favorite singer ever. ( well, her and Charlotte Church).

GREAT NEW MUSIC COMING YOUR WAY!

I thought this CD was really good. Maybe not as good as her first 2, but good nonetheless. I think she's really trying to soften her music. It suits her though, so it's still good.
