evocative

This is a collection of Joel Andre's poetry. Usually I don't read poetry, but I bought this book at the same time I bought Joel's novel.

The poems are thought provoking. His subjects range from ravens to vampires. Some discuss dying; other discuss love and loss. A couple talk about "the Darkman". My favorite was "Bitter Honey" - it reached deep in me and pulled at my longings, then reminded me what it's all about. Well done!

In spite of a few spelling errors, the quality was good, the poetry was thought provoking, and I'll be sure to leaf through it again. I look forward to more works from Andre!

    Exceptional

Not your run of the mill Poetry. This is fresh thinking poetry in the style of Poe! The content ranges from Demons, to Death, even love and loss. The wording is flawless, and you feel with these poems. Raw, emotional and a fantastic example of what poetry should be. Excellent work!
